You’re probably already sick of seeing bright colours on the blog but with this amazingly sunny weather (can you tell I’m loving it?) I can’t help but gravitate towards these bolder ensembles.
Today is something a little different and special as I’m wearing a sheer top which I made earlier this week! I’ve been wanting to make some more clothes for a while and seeing as I have a few weeks off over Easter I thought I’d get cracking. I’m loving the see-through/organza look which has been about for a little while now as it can be layered over a pretty simple outfit to make it look more fun and modern. I particularly like this yellow one as it shines and shimmers as the light hits it.
I’ve teamed this top with a basic outfit: a PU skirt, red vest and my beloved red converse. While some may initially be put off with the thought of a see through top, it honestly is pretty versatile to style. Here the leather skirt turns the look into a more ‘going out’ vibe but paired with jeans or even denim shorts in the summer this could be a great chilled day look.
Let me know your thoughts on the top! Hopefully I’ll be showcasing some more of my own creations in these outfit shots from now on!
