Today I thought I’d quickly share with you my favourite autumn nails. I’m not generally one to seperate my clothes/beauty etc between the seasons (you’ll catch me wearing bright nails all year round) but I dusted down my ‘autumny’ shades to give you a seasonal post!
I sway towards neutral shades a lot in Autumn for a chic, effortless look which teams well with an all black outfit (or a tan coat!). This one pictured above is in ‘almond’ and I think it’s quite a sophisticated shade which isn’t too noticeable. Along the neutral lines I also like an off white colour (I have ‘coconut’ from Barry M too which is always a favourite, perhaps more so in winter).
Next I have this purple shade, again from the Barry M Gelly range, called ‘plum’. I tend not to wear this shade as much as the others – partly because I wear a lot of burgundy shades in the Autumn which don’t go that well. However, I love wearing this shade, particularly with denim items or a little black dress.
Lastly, probably my favourite shade out of all these is ‘racing green’. I’ve had this nail polish for years and whilst I admit, it often gets forgotten about, I always crack it out again at this time of year. It’s the perfect dark green and has a glittery shimmer to it which I personally love. I also find, despite the slightly unusual shade, it goes with everything I wear and is easily teamed with other ‘autumny’ shades.
Let me know what your favourite Autumn nail polishes are down below! I’m always keen on getting more!
