Holiday Reads | books I’m taking on holiday

Holiday Reads

For me holidays are the perfect excuse to curl up somewhere -preferably on the beach, but y’know, sometimes you have to make do with a tent on a rainy day- and read. Throughout the holiday I’m normally glued to a book, it’s like a self-set challenge to see how many books I can read in a week. This time I’m aiming for 3, which I think is pretty reasonable. I’m taking along Persuasion and Jane Eyre as they’re on my reading list for English and I’m hoping a quiet setting will push me into picking up these pre-20th century books which I’ve definitely been avoiding. Obviously I then have to throw in a much easier read just in case the other two are too much to handle! I got Bossypants as a Christmas present but annoyingly haven’t had the chance to read it yet so it’ll be good to get stuck into that too.

I’d be interested to here what books you’re all reading over the summer. I always make it my mission to read as much as possible as I normally then slack during term time, grrr.

Happy reading,

Jodie xo

Thumbs up for Austen, hope you like the books. Tina Fey’s Bossypants looks promising too.
