A Rainy Southbank Visit

It’s been a while… I know. But let’s get crack-a-lackin’. Summer’s here and I’m ready to blog. Yesterday I took a little trip to the Southbank and despite the horrible rainy weather there’s always something to do. Turns out yesterday it was Bastille day meaning Borough Market was full of people in stripes and berets as well as French musicians.

If you’re planning on visiting London anytime soon then the Southbank is definitely on my places I’d suggest to visit. In good weather there’s busking along the bank and always things to do and see and even in the rain there’s pop up galleries such as this one pictured below (it was near the National Theatre I believe).Southbank2It’s crazy how many things there are to do within such a short walk down the riverside. The walk from Waterloo East to London Bridge is perfect for an afternoon out, passing the Tate Modern, the National Theatre and Borough Market along the way.

Borough Market is an extremely popular market in London and if you’re lucky enough to be there on a good day you can often catch some sort of entertainment too. The relaxed market vibe and tasty food makes Borough Market the place to head to for food….the free tasters are good too, just saying.southbank5Sorry there hasn’t been a post in a week or two… things shall change (hopefully!). But for now I hope you enjoyed a little post about my day! More fashion posts will be coming soon!
