This post is going to sound sooooooo ironic considering my last post (read it here), but hey ho. Sunday afternoons (with no school for the week ahead) are blissful to say the least. I always know I’m feeling chilled when I begin to put on make-up just for the hell of it. I decided to share my make-up experimentation today – it wasn’t done for anything special but I think it makes a nice and simple going out look.
Throwing make-up onto my bed and sitting down in front of a mirror is the Sunday ritual for sure. I never have any idea where I’m going with it and don’t bother following a tutorial or mimicking someone else’s make-up. To be honest this idea can fail (and has done numerous times!) hence why messing around with make-up is for Sunday afternoons and not left until an hour before you need to go out!
Ironically Sunday afternoons are also for comfy outfits which often mean I get strange looks from my mum as I stroll round the house with a full face of make-up on in a hoodie with bed hair…
I don’t really know much about make-up -only what I understand from binge watching youtube videos- but I do know I LOVE this eyeshadow stick by Ted Baker. It’s super soft making it easily blendable, but probably not very long wearing… I teamed it with ‘crave’ from the Naked Basics palette in the crease and winged liner. I feel like this look is two months too late as it would have been a fab eye make-up for NYE!
I hope you liked this make-up related post! Weirdly enough I hardly ever bother going out the house with make-up on (ain’t nobody got time for touching up) but it doesn’t stop me from having fun using make-up at home!
