The festive season may be well and truly over but that doesn’t mean I want to get out of my comfy clothing. Britain is still well and truly in winter and therefore it calls for warm clothing. I’m showing you some of my favourite comfy clothing pieces perfect for January. Once you’ve finished browsing the blog make sure you go over and check out the lookbook video!
The cosy (yet slightly stylish) jumper- a new purchase from me was this cold shoulder jumper from Urban Outfitters (the brand is Sparkle&Fade). I love the fact that although it’s just a plain, slouchy grey jumper, it can kind of add an ‘edge’ or effort to your outfit. You’ll probably see way too much of this jumper in the months to come.
The easy wear dress- I’ve had this dress for a year or two and it comes from Topshop (I think they’ve got variations of this still on their website). It’s the easiest dress to wear perfect for a) wanting to eat LOADS without anyone noticing haha or b) looking like you’ve actually made an effort when in actual fact it still feels like you’re wearing your pj’s.
The comfy trainers- I wear trainers the most out of all my shoes I’d say, and that’s because they’re the comfiest shoes in the world (providing you get the right pair that is). I love my new running shoes which no doubt will see more appearances in everyday slouchy outfits than actual running activities.
The jeans/leggings – In the lookbook I wore my Topshop Joni jeans which I think are honestly pretty comfortable on the skinny jean comfort scale. However if you’re a true beliver that comfort can not be found in a pair of jeans then leggings work just as well. You can get basic leggings from pretty much anywhere but please, please do everyone a favour and buy some which aren’t see-through!
The jacket- my green parka coat is my must for keeping comfortable on a trip outside however if we’re talking jackets then there’s one clear winner! The fluffiness of the inside lining makes this jacket sooooo warm. I’m wearing this jacket as I write this post and I feel like I could just snuggle into a ball and fall to sleep in fluffiness – I wonder if this is how dog’s feel? (this jacket is from Rokit)
