What I loved in September| September Favourites

September has been and gone -hey, I’m not complaining, October is my favourite month- which calls for me to round up all the things I’ve been loving over the past 30 days. For me, September has been a hectic, chaotic rollercoaster – getting through it has been the focus with some loving thrown in here and there.

Ironically (considering I’m taking A Level English) I haven’t read a single book. Kill me now. But I do have some other favourites to show you which are all pictured below…

Fashion Faves
This month’s been all about comfort, hence the big scarf, slipper socks and Dr Martens which I’ve been donning practically everyday! My favourite item (which I’m sure I’ve spoken about numerous times already) is what I like to call my ‘Brixton’ t-shirt – for obvious reasons. This is a hand printed t-shirt from Hustlebucks which is a youth-led design and printing company based in Brixton. They do t-shirts, hoodies and bags which you can purchase either online or at their shop in Brixton Market. The best thing of all is that you get a t-shirt which hardly anyone has, making it a great conversation starter!

Hair Fave
It has to be my re-kindled relationship with the Boots Curl Creme. Of course. You can read more about my love for it here and here

Beauty Faves
From left to right my favourites are the Barry M Gelly Nail Polish in ‘Almond’ – I’m in love it’s THE greatest neutral in my collection; the Body Shop BB Cream (you can read my review on it here); the Bourjois Rouge Edition velvet in ‘hot pepper’ (a post on that is coming but for now let’s just say I ADORE IT); and the Body Shop Colour Crush lipstick in 320 which is a perfect ‘your lip colour but better’ colour.

Other Faves
I say this with no embarassement whatsoever – Made in Chelsea NYC has been a firm favourite this month. I actually watched all the episodes so far (I think there’s six) in this series over the two days I was off school with a cold! It’s extremely addictive, hilarious and sometimes really irritating, but I love it. You can catch up on 4OD.

That’s all my favourites this month! Very short and sweet! I CAN’T WAIT for what’s to come in October – there’s so much to do and I’m super excited.

I hope you’ve all had a great September and are looking forward to October as much as me!
