Spring Trends

Hey there fashion lovers!

So spring seems to finally be here, hurrah! As the spring weather has come (at least for those of us in London) we all need some new clothes, right? Changes of seasons are the perfect excuse to head to the shops. I’ve looked closely at the recent fashion week catwalks and have compiled the hottest spring trends for 2013 and the best places to buy these affordable pieces.

The colour orange is so hot right now. Brighten up your wardrobe with a orange t-shirt, dress or playsuit. You’ll be sure to stand out and glow in this summery/spring colour. Here’s a picture of Beyonce in a bright LOD (little orange dress), move over LBD!
As you can probably guess, Queen B’s look is slightly on the expensive side! There are so many great purchases to be made elsewhere such as this fabulous spring summer dress from H&M – http://www.hm.com. Not only is this dress orange (major trend!) it also has a v-neck (which is another major spring ’13 trend!)

It’s all about girl power at the moment! Sharp suits and shoulder pads are back and bigger than ever. But if you don’t want to look like your from the eighties why not try a short suit – which is all the rage at the moment. Rita Ora loves a suit or two, in fact she’s constantly wearing them! Here’s a picture of her in a laid back skinny suit.
To get a more simple look why not buy a blazer? They’re perfect for all year round- especially spring/summer! Buy one in light pastels or tweed, to be bang on trend. Here’s one of my favourite blazers from ASOS (check them out! http://www.asos.com/Women/)

And the last of my favourite trends for this season has to be florals! The floral trend is nothing new but the bold prints seen on the catwalks recently really stands out. Floral prints will brighten up any outfit and will add a quirky, boho look to your outfit. Beyonce again wears this trend amazingly and shows that floral and floral work well together.
Doesn’t she look fab? To get her look for less head over to http://www.boohoo.com/
I particularly like this skirt from boohoo for £10!

So there are my favourite 3 spring trends. I absolutely love a bit of fashion following but make sure you team a trendy garment with your own style! Don’t get sucked into the trends too much – remember not every style will suit everyone so use your common sense! I want to know your opinion on this article so tweet me @madfashionlover or comment below your favourite spring trend this year!
